Borland's Software Delivery Optimization (SDO) Process Introduced

Borland has recently introduced their new process called Software Delivery Optimization, or SDO for short, that will be supported by future versions of their tool set. On the website devoted to their new process they have information about their new process available as a:

I have to warn you though, all the information, including the downloadable white paper, spends more time defining the problem with the way software is developed today then defining how they are going to solve the problem. Everything right now on the website is very marketing oriented which is unfortunate. But if you are interested in an overview of the main concepts behind SDO I recommend you download the white paper and read starting with page 8 onward.

Very interesting links. I’d be interested to see product reviews from anyone using the Borland acquired “Together” suite, or perhaps some comments from someone using the entire Borland suite of products in their developmetn process. It seems Rational really has the market and I haven’t been impressed with the quality of their tools.

I have never been a big fan of Rational’s products as well from a usability standpoint.

If anyone has experience using the Together Suite and or Borland’s Suite of development products we would greatly appreciate your comments on your experience. Can you please email me at john.kopanas [at] protose.org and maybe you can even write a review for us :-).
