Accredited Software Engineering Programs in Canada

Have you ever been curious to know which software engineering programs have been accredited in Canada? We found the list of schools on CCPE’s (Canadian Council of Profesional Engineers) website. There are other universities, than those on the list, that offer a software engineering program, but accreditation comes with the first graduating class. The accreditation board, the CEAB, visits the school when the first class is in their final year of study, and evaluates that the program meets the requirements for accreditation. The first such schools to be accredited in Canada were in 2001.

  • Ecole de technologie superieure: 2003
  • Lakehead: 2002
  • McMaster: 2001
  • Ottawa: 2001
